February 2, 2025 – St. John’s, NL: Big Feed Club Grocery Delivery, a Newfoundland and Labrador-based business, is the only locally owned grocery delivery service of its kind to offer both home delivery from multiple suppliers and business-to-business services.

By the end of this week, Big Feed Club will identify the country of origin for all products offered through its platform, providing full transparency to its customers.

“Due to the ongoing trade dispute between the United States and Canada, we are committed to being fully transparent about the origin of all products available through our service,” said co-founder Bradley Russell.

“The supply chain in Canada is interconnected with that of other countries and will lead to disruptions that cannot be fully anticipated. What we can do is take proactive steps to ensure our customers are the best-informed in Newfoundland and Labrador.”

(November 16, 2022 - St. John’s, NL) Big Feed Club Grocery Delivery and DRL Coachlines successfully launched their grocery distribution program yesterday, bringing affordable groceries and essential goods to 20 designated pick-up locations across the island.

 

The partnership launch results from a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed by both companies in mid-June of this year.

 

Bradley Russell, co-founder of Big Feed Club Grocery Delivery says, “We have put a lot of hard work into getting this ready and have been blown away by the response we received yesterday. In the first 12 hours, we signed up 750 new members to our service - all without paid ads or prior notice that we were going to start accepting orders on Monday.”

 

Big Feed Club Grocery Delivery initially launched in February 2021, with a focus on door-to-door delivery in the North East Avalon region of the province.

 

“We started the company to make it easier for busy families, seniors, and people with disabilities to get the food and essentials they need. In under two years, we’ve gone from servicing a small area of the island to bringing our goods to 20 pick-up locations right across the island.”

Big Feed Club Grocery Delivery and DRL Coachlines have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to distribute fresh grocery and essential products across the island portion of Newfoundland and Labrador. Both Bradley Russell, Co-Founder of Big Feed Club Grocery Delivery, and Jason Roberts, Owner of DRL Coachlines, say that in a time of rising food prices and supply chain disruption, the partnership couldn’t be more timely.

We want to wish a Happy New Year and gives thanks to everyone that has signed up with us in 2020 during our soft launch - we’ve been blown away with the support. Delivery slots are now open for January!

Without you, building a sustainable food delivery service in Newfoundland and Labrador that pays its workers a living wage and offsets its emissions simply wouldn’t be possible.

As we look forward to 2021, we will be rolling out a selection of locally made products from right here at home - so watch this space.

Additionally, we will be expanding our delivery region from St. John’s and Mount Pearl to most of the North East Avalon region of the island. By the end of next week we will be servicing communities like CBS, Paradise, Torbay, Portugal Cove - St. Philips, Logy Bay - Middle Cove - Outer Cove, and others. Wahoo!
